Vinny was club president 1990-1991; and, a donation by the club to The Rotary Foundations made him a Paul Harris Fellow in 1989. A retired music teacher, Vinny has lead the club in singing the Canadian National anthem and America The Beautiful at the start of every meeting for many years. He is chief cook at the club's annual Spaghetti Dinner. Vinny and Jack Hinman oversee induction of all new members. Vinny celebrates 50 years as a Rotarian in 2014; his service has been recognized in a letter of congratulations from president of Rotary International.
