This holiday season the students at Franklin Academy Rotary Interact took it upon themselves to spread the joy to members of the community in need. The students decided to spread some cheer by hand making holiday cards for every occupant currently at the ALICE Assisted Living Center. Many members of the Rotary Interact Club worked tirelessly after school, from home, and even on their days off to make sure that the holidays were just a bit brighter at the ALICE center. Not only did the students make sure that every person at the ALICE Assisted Living Center would receive a card but they took it upon themselves to hand deliver the cards over their busy Christmas break. The members that received these cards were thrilled and it goes to show that small gestures of outreach to the community can influence many in a big way.
